About The Penny Friends

Genuinely Ginny, Inc. is a gathering place where people find ways to change their attitude to achieve their goals. I am a personal motivator who encompasses a holistic way of living, devoted to Mind, Body, Spirit and Abundance.

Genuinely Ginny runs a blog called The Penny Friends. This blog is about being passionate in the sharing of ideas and knowledge for motivation. It is a place where doers and thinkers come together for empowerment through positive articles, inspiration and support. In supporting each other we all grow and thrive.

Articles are written to help build confidence, prosperity, how to achieve your personal goals, and how to have a healthy mind, spirit and body. All areas in your life must be in good condition in order for you to be truly successful.  The blog, as well as my twitter account, The Penny Friends, help bring all aspects of our lives together.

Guest bloggers are encouraged to write about their specialties, their motivation, their passions, their struggles. This is a fabulous way to bring a multitude of people to your website, blog or facebook for you to gain exposure and clients.

Also, with more and more baby boomers caring for their parents we provide a place of respite for the caregiver. Discussions are held on  how to deal with stress, loss and the feelings one has watching their parents go through the aging process. Adults Caring for Elderly Parents is a group that was formed for caregivers to speak honestly and without judgement on what is going on in their lives.  Many times we become the family for people caring for their parents alone.

Girlfriends Are Pennies from Heaven is my women’s group. Although this is mainly a social group, providing a time just for the ladies to get away from it all, it has been a “lifeline” for some women. Either from moving to a new area, losing a family member, or just finding it difficult to make new friends, this group gives women something to look forward to, providing them the support of friendship which we all need. Our charity, which we lend a helping hand to, in whatever way we can, is a shelter for abused women.

The O’Connor Family Scholarship, at Iona College,New Rochelle, NY, was started to help students with learning disabilities purchase books or assist with tuition. In this economy, the scholarship is an enormous help for students who are already starting off with a slight disadvantage.

My name is Ginny. I am a personal motivator, group facilitator, freelance writer and author, who brings the perspective of being a wife, divorcee,  mother and grandmother to my corporation. Like my book, “Girlfriends Are Pennies from Heaven,” my life has been a compilation of careers in finance, sales, travel and real estate. I am a reiki master and have organized several inspirational and just for fun groups.

Come along and let’s take life’s journey together.

Hi Ginny! You have a gift and I would love to participate in your gatherings. It was great to see you at the GCA reunion! Please keep me in mind when you have another meeting of “Penny Friends”, I would love to participate.
I so related to your blog about when you lost your mom. I like the penny analogy…I am going to use it. Though my mom has been gone almost 10 years…I still miss her so much.

Hope to see you soon! Love, Gail

      Hi Gail,
Come and join us at one of our meetings. We would love to have you.
I know no matter how many years someone has passed, you never get over it.
Hope you are doing as best as can be expected since your brother’s passing.
Why not write a story about it or in the comment section. Sharing your feelings by writing helps you and also other’s who are going through the same experience.
Hope to see you soon, also.
With much thanks for your comment………..
      Ginny
